Spa Marvel Cleanser is a fast-acting proprietary hot tub plumbing cleaner that penetrates deep inside of your spa’s plumbing and equipment, removing biofilm, organic, mineral and chemical contaminants thereby prolonging the life of your spa and hot tub equipment. In brand new spas, Spa Marvel Cleanser removes residues left over from the manufacturing process including waxes, oils, and resins. It is the perfect spa & hot tub pipe cleaner to use before using Spa Marvel Water Treatment & Conditioner.
If you do not use the Spa Marvel Cleanser the natural descalers contained in the Spa Marvel Water Treatment & Conditioner will clean out residue from the manufacturing process and accumulation from past use. This may cause water quality issues.
If you have a brand-new spa we do encourage you to use the Spa Marvel Cleanser to remove the residues from the manufacturing process. However, many new hot tub owners are anxious to get using their spa and would prefer not to start out with the cleansing process. Many new spa owners also often experience extremely high bather loads during the first few weeks of ownership as all of their friends, family and neighbours come to experience their new hot tub. Remember that 4 people in a hot tub are equivalent to 400 people in a pool. This excessive use often dictates the necessity for a water change after only 1-3 weeks of using the spa.
As a new spa owner it may behoove you to start out with some traditional spa treatment products. Then in 1-3 weeks once all of your friends have finished trying out the spa and a water change is required anyway, you can then run the Spa Marvel Cleanser at that time, drain the water and start fresh with Spa Marvel Water Treatment & Conditioner.
Other Uses
- For cleaning the plumbing of jetted bath tubs. Use 2 capfuls initially and then 1 capful once a month for maintenance. The hot tub plumbing cleaner can be added to bath water before it is drained.
- For cleaning dishwashers and washing machines. Add 2 capfuls of Spa Marvel hot tub pipe cleaner and run the machines without dishes or clothes. You should notice quieter pumps. Any foaming you experience is from built up detergent residues that are being removed, it is not caused by the Cleanser.
- For stain removal. A strong concentration of Cleanser mixed in water is great for removing tough stains in carpet and fiber. Always test on an inconspicuous spot first for colour-fastness.
Spa Marvel Cleanser contains Sodium metasilicate, Sodium percarbonate and Sodium borate. If swallowed, call a Poison Control Centre or doctor immediately. Do not induce vomiting. If in eyes, rinse with water for 15 minutes. If on skin, rinse well with water. If on clothes, remove clothes. If inhaled, move person into fresh air.
